Green Smoothie for a smoooth day...



I signed up for a 30-day green smoothie challenge but only ended up starting today...

I did not follow the recipe suggested as yet because I needed to use up all that I had in my fridge first. 

So here's my first one. It's best to stick by Jen and Jadah's rules :- Greens, nut milk for proteins, frozen fruits and superfood.


Bok Choy Berry Delight


Ingredients:

6 or more      Bok Choy Stems with leaves
1/2 Cup        Honey Dew
1/2 Cup        Frozen Berries
4 Sprigs        Mint Leaves
1 Cup           Oat Milk
1.5 tsp          Spirulina Powder


Method:

1. Add bok choy, mint leaves and oat milk into blender and blend away!
2. Once the leaves are broken down, add remaining ingredients and continue blending for about 1 minute, depending on how good your blender is. I use my good ol' Breville blender which I've had since 2007.
3. Pour into a mug / glass / mason jar, add a straw and its ready!
